Server Side Includes make Webmaster's Life Easy?

The Problem

Making changes to every page on a website is a pain in the butt.

If you don't use a content management system to compile your website, making changes to common elements such as menus and footers is a pain. You have to touch each and every page. That can be a problem on big websites.

Used Jeep Oil Spills all over the Garage

The Problem
Changing the oil of your Jeep yourself is messy if you don't know what you are doing.
The first time I changed my own oil I did not know how much leftover oil could be found inside the filter; it tends to spill out when removing.

Automatically Fill Available Vertical Space with a Web Page

The Problem

Very short web pages don't fill the whole screen.

I have been looking for the trick to this for a long time. I was very annoyed that I couldn't find an easy way to standardize the minimum height of every page on a website to fill the available vertical space in the browser window.

Valid YouTube Embedded Videos

The Problem

YouTube code generator for embedded videos does not provide valid HTML.

I used the WC3 validation tool on our client's website, SecondChanceStory.com, last night and discovered a dozen or more errors related to an embedded YouTube video on the home page.

Most of these errors arose from the fact that the <embed> element is deprecated in HTML 4. Nice! Thank-you Tube.
