It took me three and a half years to find the courage to write this book. Once introduced to Eric and Kelly Jo, this project really began to come together. It was very important for me to tell the story - Eric and Kelly Jo were able to help me put it into words that are hopefully moving and inspirational. I have a real desire to not only help inform people about food safety, but to also help guide parents who have been through a life threatening crisis with a child. With the creativity of Eric and Kelly Jo, if we can touch the lives of just one family, this project will be a success. I have really been inspired by Eric and Kelly Jo, and I hope to do more projects with them in the future.
