A once in a lifetime opportunity: we saw the notable conservationist Dr. Jane Goodall give a speech at Denver University on March 18. We both remember watching National Geographic episodes growing up describing Jane's work with the chimpanzees at Gombe. Her speech at DU was inspirational and life changing.

The excursion was in honor of Eric's 40th birthday. We both remember Godfather's from our youth. Godfather's are common in Iowa, where we grew up (Eric in Mason City, Kelly in Cedar Rapids).
We are so thrilled to learn that we have an option in Colorado for a pizza that reminds us of nostalgic times. We'll just have to remember to bring a valid vehicle registration and insurance card next time we try to get on a military post.
